Hi folks

I thought I would let you know the system should you wish to propose a change to any of the rules for road racing.

There is a review every two years and that process is starting around now.

I've asked the question at UKA and the reply is as follows:

This is the right time to start asking this sort of question.  The biannual review of rule is about to start for publication of the next book in April 2008.

The best way to ensure a successful change is through a group such as the UK Road Running Management Group - acceptance there guarantees a change.  However it is possible for any individual or group to propose a change.

Ken Taylor sits on the UKRRMG and is aware of any proposals in the pipeline at the moment.  You would probably be best have a conversation with him as a first stage.

If there is anything you wish to have changed then please let me know as a first point of contact. I will collate all the proposals and speak to Ken on behalf of Lancashire road racing.
