The Lancashire Athletic Association is the official body charged with managing County competitions in the various athletic disciplines and the Association selects teams to represent the County at Inter County events in Cross-Country, Track and Field, Fell and Road Running.

The Association is managed by a committee which is elected annually by the affiliated athletic clubs of Lancashire

Five Lancashire Athletes selected for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

Congratulations to Max Eaves, Helen Clitheroe, Shelley Wood, Sophie Hitchon and Carl Myerscough on their selection for England in the Commonwealth games.

Road Relays

The next Lancashire County Championship Event is the combined road relays, held in conjunction with Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. See our Road Running page for entry details etc.

Northern Junior Inter-Counties  Track and Field Championship

The Northern Junior Inter-Counties track and field championship (for U15s and U17s) will be held at Moorways stadium Derby on Saturday 2nd August. Details of the event and the Lancashire athletes selected are on the Inter-Counties Track and Field page.
